**Job Title: CNC Lead Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CNC Lead Operator to oversee and manage the CNC mills and lathes during the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will ensure the machines are running properly, perform tool changes and offsets, and provide basic training for operators. Additionally, the CNC Lead Operator will handle basic scheduling and time reporting, ensuring that the machines are filled with necessary oils and coolants before the shift begins. **Responsibilities** + Set up and run CNC mills and lathes. + Act as a working lead for the 2nd shift. + Work on Brother and Okuma machines, ensuring they are running properly and set up before the 1st shift. + Perform tool changes and offsets. + Train operators on basic machine operations. + Ensure machines are filled with oils and coolants before the shift. + Handle basic scheduling and time reporting. + Maintain computer literacy for machine operations and reporting. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of CNC experience. + Proficiency with mills and lathes. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience in training operators. + Strong soft skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Brother and Okuma machines. + Troubleshooting and changeover capabilities. + Previous lead or supervisory experience is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a stable and growing company that is a tier 1 supplier. The work environment is a smaller shop with approximately 6 people, expanding to 4 people on the 2nd shift when fully staffed.
