**Aerotek is hiring CNC Machine Operators** **Shift: 1st shift 5:15am to 1:45pm Monday - Friday 2nd shift 1:45pm to 10:15pm Monday - Friday** **Pay: $17 to $23 (WILL TAKE ENTRY LEVEL CANDIDATES WITH SCHOOLING)** **Responsibilities** + Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, turning, grinding, milling, etc. + Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading engineering drawings and other specifications. + Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines. + Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications. + Closely monitor the machines while they execute tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result. + Inspect and measure the finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly. + Inspect and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality. **Essential Skills** + Proven experience as a CNC operator. + Skills in operating CNC machinery and tooling. + Proficiency with precision measurement tools. + Ability to read and interpret mechanical/engineering documents and drawings. + Mechanical aptitude and good math skills. + A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach. + Good communication abilities. + Reliability and perfect attendance. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Certificate or diploma from a CNC machining school, technical college, or relevant discipline is a plus. **Work Environment** Non-climate controlled manufacturing environment. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
