Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a day and swing shift machinist to produce components for the semiconductor industry. This position requires strong attention to detail and careful handling of custom and fragile parts.

ResponsibilitiesSetup and operate CNC machines to manufacture semiconductor partsClean and finish part processes in preparation for the next operationCalculate setups using various units of measurementPerform routine setup of fixtures, tools, and machines, according to blueprints and work instructionsShadow machinists during processing through functional procedures and machining processes such as milling, turning, shaping, drilling, and surface grindingEssential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 6 months of machining experienceIntermediate understanding of the fundamentals of machining including shop math, drawings, measuring instruments, machine functions, and controlsAbility to calculate dimensions to meet tolerancesUnderstanding of G and M codes, GD&TAdvanced shop math and measuring instrumentsAbility to align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, dial indicators, accessories, and materialsAbility to machine parts to drawing specifications using machining techniques such as milling, turning, shaping, drilling, and surface grindingWhy Work Here?

Work Environment & Schedule

High tech manufacturing environment. Very clean and organized.

Day shift hours are Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm

Swing shift hours are Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10:30pm, with a 10% shift differential.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent Hire position based out of Hillsboro, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42900.00 - $53500.00
