**Job Title: CNC Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
A CNC operator is responsible for following the instructions of the M-Order, pick-up sheet, and blueprints provided to manufacture high-quality parts within the set tolerances.
**Responsibilities**
+ Load and run parts while maintaining quality production standards.
+ Work with Lead/Quality to ensure first article inspection has been completed.
+ Operate one or more CNC machines depending on cycle time.
+ Clock on and off jobs accurately in an electronic clocking system.
+ Read and understand manufacturing orders.
+ Use and read various types of measuring equipment with a high degree of accuracy.
+ Operate various hand tools, use tooling fixtures and machines, such as saws, grinders, drills, drill presses, belt sanders, slotters, and shears.
+ Work as required.
+ Be punctual and reliable.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
+ Read basic blueprints.
+ Work to tolerances of +-.002.
+ Use various types of measuring equipment.
+ Work as a team player.

+ Knowledge of Fanuc Controls
+ Experience with HAAS/Fadal machining centers
+ Experience in Aerospace manufacturing
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
+ Effective written and oral communication skills
+ Ability to work well with minimal supervision
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Good mathematical skills
+ Experience in operating a variety of equipment including CNC machines, Bridgeport Mills, and small hand tools

**Work Environment**
Safety glasses/goggles meeting the ANSI Z87.1-1989 requirement with permanent side shields are required. Safety shoes that meet the ANSI Z41 standard with a steel or composite toe are required.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burbank, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
