**Job Title: CNC Machine Operator** **Job Description** This individual is expected to be able to setup, operate, and change over CNC machines. They will primarily work with milling machines, including brands such as Fidal, Blue Star, and Haas. Basic math skills are required to calculate dimensions and interpret blueprints and drawings. **Responsibilities** + Setup and operate CNC milling machines. + Perform machine changeovers and address breakdowns. + Utilize measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers. + Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of CNC Machine Operating experience preferred. + Ability to setup, operate, and change over CNC machines. + Proficiency in using tape measures and calipers. + Strong attention to detail. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED. + No formal education required. + MUST have proper PPE (Steel toes, safety glasses, long sleeve shirt, and metatarsals). + Willingness to work overtime if needed. **Why Work Here?** We provide room for growth if you are open to learning and getting trained on other tasks. The current manager was hired as a CNC operator and has now advanced to overseeing half the plant. **Work Environment** This is a metal fabrication environment, which can be loud and dirty, hot in the summer, and cold in the winter. The facility provides a range of metal fabrication services, including CNC machining, robot welding, beveling, press forming, and plate rolling. Safety is paramount, and proper PPE is required. Shift hours are as follows: 1st Shift - 6am-2:30pm (some Saturday work required), 3rd Shift - 9:30pm-6am Sunday through Thursday (some Fridays expected, +$1 shift differential). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Kentucky. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
