Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for operating Haas and OKUMA machinery to complete production runs. This is a job shop where quality over quantity is expected due to the long runs per part. The operator will need to read blueprints to operate CNC machines, change tooling, and complete inspections using micrometers and calipers. This company is looking for somebody with 1-2 years of experience that they can train! THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY!!

ResponsibilitiesOperate Haas and OKUMA machinery to complete production runs.Read and interpret blueprints to operate CNC machines.Change tooling as necessary.Perform inspections using micrometers and calipers.Ensure quality over quantity in production runs.Essential SkillsExperience with CNC operations, specifically Haas Mill and OKUMA machinery.Proficiency in reading blueprints.Skilled in using micrometers and calipers.Knowledge of CNC programming and Mastercam.Ability to perform quality inspections and troubleshoot as needed.Additional Skills & QualificationsLess than 3 years of CNC Mill experience.Experience with milling and machining processes.Capability to read and interpret blueprints.Familiarity with quality inspection procedures.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment features a well-organized and clean machine shop with 24 CNC machines, primarily Haas equipment, and a mix of Mills and Lathes. The company operates on two shifts: 1st Shift from 5:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with 10-hour days and an additional 5 hours on Saturday if necessary. The 2nd Shift runs from 3:00pm to 2:30am, Monday to Friday, with a 10% shift differential when permanent. The machining department is part of a larger organization that includes departments for machining, fabrication, packing, assembly, and welding.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
