Job Description
The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for the operation of CNC Vertical Milling Machines. They will regularly lift up to 40 lbs, but most parts are about 25 lbs. Responsibilities include operating CNC Vertical Milling Machines, checking part quality to blueprint specifications using micrometers, calipers, etc., and packaging the parts in boxes. The operator will also utilize a forklift to move boxes of finished products as well as raw materials to and from their machine. This is a weekend shift, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5am to 5:30pm, with 36 hours of work paid as 40 hours.

Work Environment
The shop has about 34 employees, including programmer/machinists, set-up machinists, and operator-level machinists. The shop is equipped with a multitude of CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines. It is climate-controlled with both heating and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable working environment. The facility maintains a family atmosphere and has a very low turnover rate. The weekend shift consists of working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5am to 5:30pm.

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $58240.00/yr.
