Cnc Machine Operator
**Job Title: CNC Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to perform machining on parts and tools, operating more than one machine at a time. The ideal candidate will use blueprints and schematics to machine parts and must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for the entire shift. **Responsibilities** + Perform intermediate level machining of parts and tools with limited supervision. + Set up and operate all available machine tools, performing progressive machining operations on work involving close tolerances. + Understand the qualities of metals and alloys and apply that knowledge to parts being machined. + Comprehend all forms of technical documents including blueprints, drawings, written specifications, charts, and tables. + Skillfully use all machinist hand tools and measuring instruments. + Fit and assemble components as necessary. + Set up and lay out work from blueprints, sketches, and written specifications according to requirements. + Maintain a track record of high-quality work with low rework and scrap history. + Maintain high efficiencies and run rates for given machine. + Work safely and as part of a high-performing team. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production, CNC, and machine operation. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. + Ability to perform machining, machine operating, and assembly tasks. + Knowledge of lathe, mill, and CNC machine operations. + Ability to read a tape measure accurately. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to learn both manual and CNC equipment. + Experience in manufacturing and general labor. + Strong understanding of technical documents and specifications. + Proficiency in using machinist hand tools and measuring instruments. **Why Work Here?** Join a high-performing team that values safety and efficiency. Safety and teamwork are highly emphasized in this role. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eugene, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
