Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Experienced CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** CNC Machine Operator
**Location:** Dyer, IN
**Pay Range:** $21.40 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Responsible for CNC Machinery, demonstrating proficiency in fixtures, tooling, controls, and conducting ongoing equipment maintenance and care.
+ Conduct minimal deburring and surface protection on work pieces.
+ Take detailed measurements and preliminary evaluations to ensure workpiece acceptability and troubleshoot issues that arise during the machining process.
+ Maintain comprehensive documentation and records relating to production, downtime, quality, and other relevant metrics.
+ Assist in fixture set up and ensure that area housekeeping is maintained, including machine and storage areas.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 or more years of recent machine operation experience, preferably in a metal cutting and/or fabricating industry.
+ Able to measure accurately using various measuring tools as well as perform basic shop math and blueprint reading.
+ Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
+ Knowledge of operating requirements and experience with manufacturing equipment, including different types of cutting tools and their appropriate usage.
+ Effective communication skills with team members, supervisors, and engineers.
