This is a temp-to-hire or direct-hire opportunity, depending on your level of CNC experience. The position offers competitive pay rates and the opportunity to join a growing company. **Pay Rates:** + **1st Shift (7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday, OT available):** $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience + **2nd Shift (3:30 pm – 2:00 am, Monday – Thursday, OT available):** $23.00 - $28.25 per hour, based on experience + **3rd Shift (11:00 pm – 7:00 am, Sunday – Thursday, OT available):** $23.00 - $28.25 per hour, based on experience **Job Summary:** As a **CNC Machine Setup Operator** , you will set up and operate multiple CNC machines to produce high-quality components that meet specified dimensions and characteristics, in line with strict quality standards. This position will allow you to demonstrate your technical skills and contribute to the success of a leading manufacturing facility. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring the correct tools and parts are used to meet specifications in the Shop Order. + Utilize measuring instruments like micrometers, verniers, optical comparators, and microscopes to set up equipment and verify work quality. + Operate 2 CNC machines simultaneously, producing both short and long runs of parts with exacting finish specifications. + Follow established procedures and set-up cards to manufacture parts as ordered, ensuring adherence to required tolerances. + Perform in-process readings and make adjustments to ensure parts meet specifications. + Diagnose and correct any machine issues, maintain accurate records, and report any irregularities to the assigned leader. + Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe, while adhering to all safety rules and OSHA regulations. + Move materials, parts, and containers as required to complete tasks. + Train new team members on CNC operations and best practices. **Job Skills & Abilities:** + Strong ability to read and interpret product blueprints and specification sheets from the engineering department. + Proficient in following written and verbal instructions, adhering to standard operating procedures. + Ability to maintain production levels and meet quality standards consistently. + Keen attention to detail to identify and report any defects in parts, finishes, or quality of workmanship. + Experience maintaining necessary records and working in an environment subject to audits. **Why Apply?** + Competitive pay rates with the potential for overtime. + Temp-to-hire or direct-hire opportunity based on your level of CNC experience. + Work in a high-level manufacturing facility with advanced equipment and processes. + Training and growth opportunities available.
