CNC Machinist
2nd Shift

As the CNC Machinist for Rolls-Royce, you will have the opportunity to use a variety of precision measuring instruments, inspect in process or finished parts and feature characteristics as well as manufacturing methods to blueprint specifications.

Rolls-Royce has entered into an agreement to divest a portion of our business to Fairbanks Morse Defense. As part of this agreement, the role you are applying for will transition to Fairbanks Morse Defense after the closing of the transaction, expected mid-year 2025.

Key Accountabilities:
Setting up fixture components for jobs that require CNC MachiningUnderstanding and have functional use of CNC code and CNC programmingSetting machine origins in accordance with the set-up instructionsWorking to machine dimensions and maintain close tolerances and correlated dimensions with a high demand for squareness, concentricity, finish and parallelismSetting and loading all tools in conjunction with set-up instructions to complete assigned jobsAbility to lift various items weighing up to approximately 40 poundsBasic Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years experience in machining operations or a Precision Machining CertificateKnowledge of machining methods, cutting qualities of metals and toolsAbility to read and understand blueprintsIn order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA CitizenshipPreferred Requirements:
