CNC Machinist 2nd Shift Details:
Temp-to-Hire position$17.00 to $20.00 /hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredSecond Shift (Monday through Thursday from 03:00pm to 01:30am)Weekend Shift (Friday through Sunday from 6AM-6:30PM)
Responsible for the set up and operation of 3, 4 and 5 axis Haas CNC Machines, as well as checking first parts, using precision measuring and hand tools.Configure mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programsLoad machines with work piecesObserving operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; editing programs; sharpening and replacing worn tools;
CNC Machinist 2nd Shift Qualifications:
Minimum of two years’ experience in an aerospace/aircraft machine shop settingExperience with Multi-Axis CNC Machines a mustExperience with Haas machines/controls preferredKnowledge of hand tools and precision measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometersProficient in blueprint readingRESUME REQUIRED!!
