**Job Title: Direct Hire CNC Machinist**
**Shift:** 2nd (3p-11p) & 3rd (11p-7a)
**Location:** Macedonia Ohio
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who can read and understand Picture Process Map (PPM) work instructions and quality inspection sheets. The ideal candidate will document all actions by completing production and quality paperwork, identify and reject defective products, maintain machine output, report discrepancies, perform preventative maintenance, apply quality measuring instruments, and maintain communication among work shifts.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and understand Picture Process Map (PPM) work instructions and quality inspection sheets.
+ Document all actions by completing production and quality paperwork.
+ Identify all types of casting, trimming, and machining defects and not pass defective products.
+ Keep machine output at optimum parts per hour to meet deadlines.
+ Report discrepancies and CNC problems to the supervisor and quality department.
+ Perform preventative maintenance including maintaining CNC machines, robot grippers, pallet conveyors, washer cleanliness, and chip conveyor cleanliness.
+ Apply quality measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, thread gages, go/no go gages, and leak testers.
+ Work with tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on Dana Cell machines.
+ Maintain communication among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions of irregularities and continuing needs.
**Qualifications**
+ Proficient with lathe, mill, CNC machining, and machine shop operations.
+ Experience with Mazak, Fanuc, CNC mill, and CNC operation.
+ Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances.
+ Skilled in machine operating, inspection, and using hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
+ High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in CNC machine programming or equivalent work experience preferred.
+ At least 1 year of experience with CNCs (horizontal/vertical & lathes).
+ Ability to perform offset adjustments, change tools, boring bars, and pre-measure tools for future use.
+ Ability to work independently with little supervision in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods.
+ Proficiency in performing measurements with calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, thread gages, air gages, and leak testers.
+ Capability to determine root causes for production problems and implement safe and effective solutions.
+ Understanding of safety protocols and regulations for operating CNC machines safely.
+ Experience with safety compliance to ensure all manufacturing processes comply with OSHA requirements and IATF Standards.

**Work Environment**
Our schedule includes various shifts: 1st Shift – Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM, 2nd Shift – Monday to Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM, and 3rd Shift – Sunday night to Thursday night from 11 PM to 7 AM. We maintain a professional setting with all necessary tools and equipment for optimal CNC machine operations.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $56160.00/yr.
