**Job Title: CNC Machinist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have one to three years of related CNC machining experience. The CNC Set-Up/Operator will report to the 2nd shift Production Supervisor. This position involves working Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm to 1am, and Friday from 3:30pm to 7:30pm. Training will be provided on 1st shift or a mid shift.
**Responsibilities**
+ Effectively set up and operate equipment under the direction of a lead or supervisor in the CNC machining area.
+ Select required cutting tools, tool grades, and proper speeds and feeds from programming documents.
+ Fill in details of blueprints and schematics from provided information.
+ Inspect all parts manufactured in the specific machining area and perform quality-related statistical analysis, such as SPC.
+ Perform routine preventative maintenance, including daily or weekly oiling, greasing, and checking coolant levels and concentrations.
+ Comply with all safety procedures, including wearing protective clothing and handling chemicals and products safely.
+ Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of employees, as well as suppliers, customers, and peers.
+ Comply with company policies, procedures, standards, and rules.
+ Maintain quality assurance policies consistent with ISO standards.
+ Keep work area clean, orderly, and safe.
+ Ensure punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
+ Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Blueprint interpretation
+ Machine setup and program editing
+ Inspection and quality checking
+ Operating and loading multi-axis CNC horizontal and vertical machining centers, or turning centers
+ Experience setting up and changing tooling
+ Reading and interpreting blueprints, calipers, and micrometers
+ Experience with Haas, Mazak, Makino machines
+ Understanding of machine speed and feed rates
+ Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
+ Basic understanding of geometry and trigonometry
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ CNC certificate preferred
+ Ability to read simple blueprints and technical specifications
+ Capability to handle routine and non-routine projects and tasks
+ Basic understanding of mathematics including geometry and trigonometry
+ Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
+ Manual dexterity to use various wrenches and tools
+ Ability to stand all day and meet specific vision requirements
+ Exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold on a regular basis

**Work Environment**
Our 2nd shift hours are Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm to 1am, and Friday from 3:30pm to 7:30pm. Training will be provided on 1st shift or a mid shift before moving to 2nd shift. The facility is well-organized, with two sides depending on the product line: Instrumentation and Filtration. It is a non-temperature controlled environment but not excessively hot or cold.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Strongsville, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.

**Workplace Type**
