Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at our facility located in Melrose Park, IL, 60160. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC Lathes and mill machines, including both 2-4 axis and 5+ axis models. Your expertise in G-Code programming, machine setups for production runs, and troubleshooting CNC machines will be essential in ensuring the efficient and accurate production of parts. Responsibilities + Operate and maintain CNC machines, including both 2-4 axis and 5+ axis models. + Program and edit G-Code to control machine operations. + Perform machine setups for production runs, ensuring proper tooling, fixtures, and materials are in place. + Operate CNC lathes and mills with G-code programming. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines to minimize downtime. + Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity. + Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. + Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines and protocols. + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes. + Document production data, including machine settings, tooling changes, and production counts. Qualifications + A minimum of 5+ years of experience operating CNC machines + Proficient in G-Code programming and editing. + Strong knowledge of machine setups for production runs + Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines. + Familiarity with machine brands such as Kia, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, and Doosan + Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Good communication and interpersonal skills + High level of accuracy and attention to detail + Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials.       Powered by JazzHR
