**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** Machinists will use CNC machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions. They must be highly skilled, detail-driven, and able to work with great concentration and precision while complying with all safety guidelines. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are essential. Shift: 1:45PM-10:15PM (Monday - Friday). + Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, turning, grinding, milling, etc. + Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading engineering drawings and other specifications. + Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines. + Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications. + Make adjustments to G and M codes to correct any programming errors. + Closely monitor the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result. + Inspect and measure the finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly. + Inspect and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality. **Hard Skills** + Operating CNC machinery + Reading engineering drawings + Drilling + Turning + Grinding + Milling + Machine inspection + Machine maintenance **Soft Skills** + Attention to detail + Concentration + Mechanical aptitude + Precision **Job Type** This is a permanent position. **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Olive Branch, Mississippi. **Work Environment** Non Climate Controlled Manufacturing Environment **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
