Job Description An employer is looking for a CNC Machinist to sit in their Quonset Point, RI location. You will be responsible for Set up, program editing, and operation of CNC milling and turning centers. Skills and Requirements -Experience programming, editing, and running CNC lathes, CNC Mills, Mazaks, Toyota, Fadal, HAAS, or Okuma (machines) -Strong understanding of G-Code -Strong attention to detail regarding mathematical calculations and measurements -Machining experience or related training -Ability to interpret technical manuals, shipyard procedures, test documents, blueprints, diagrams, and perform basic layout functions -Available to work all shifts -Individuals are required to possess their own basic hand tools -Experience including setup, operating, with vertical and/or horizontal turning/lathes/mills -Strong mathematical skills -Mazak experience -Vocational, Technical, Community Colleges or Apprentice programs -Machine technology educational program -Shipbuilding/Marine Advanced Manufacturing Institute (SAMI) program completion null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
