Cnc Machinist
**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** The candidate will be responsible for setting up machines, modifying programs, and installing tool registers. They will perform offsets, install different fixtures, and make control settings as required. They will also need to run first piece sample parts, check part dimensions and proper finish against blueprints, monitor the machine during runs, detect malfunctions, and make adjustments as needed. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for keeping their area clean and conducting their own inspections for documentation. **Responsibilities** + Set up machines, modify programs, and install tool registers. + Perform offsets, install different fixtures, and make control settings. + Run first piece sample parts and check part dimensions against blueprints. + Monitor the machine during runs, detect malfunctions, and make adjustments as needed. + Keep the work area clean and conduct inspections for documentation. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of CNC setup experience. + 6 months of programming exposure or experience. + 2 years of G&M code interpretation and usage. + Ability to read blueprints and use shop gauges. + 2 years of experience with horizontal, vertical, milling, Fanuc, and control equipment. + 1 year of inspection and documentation experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with HAAS CNC milling is a plus. + 2 years of programming and code writing. **Why Work Here?** The company is medium-sized yet large enough to generate good revenue.
