**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in setting up lathes, working with x and y axes, and performing setups in a high-volume production environment. The CNC Machinist will ensure the precise and efficient operation of our CNC machinery to produce high-quality components. **Hard Skills** + Set up and operate CNC lathes and other machining equipment to produce parts according to specifications. + Program, set up, and adjust CNC machines to work with x and y axes. + Perform machine setups, including loading raw materials and positioning tools and fixtures. + Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or issues, making adjustments as needed. + Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. **Soft Skills** + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Experience in a high-volume production environment is highly desirable. **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Bakersfield, California. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
