**Job Title: CNC Machinist/Programmer** **Job Description** Our company, founded in 1984 and located in Ephrata, PA, is a 100% employee-owned comprehensive machining and fabrication facility specializing in custom machine building, machined parts, and fabrication. We focus on manufacturing machinery and parts used in the Aerospace and Defense Industries. We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. **Responsibilities** + Set up, program, and operate a CNC Mill or Lathe. + Machine parts per customer specifications. + Read and understand various types of customer prints. + Ensure precision and accuracy in machining parts. + Change out tooling and programs for different parts. **Essential Skills** + Ability to set up, program, and operate a CNC Mill or Lathe. + Proficiency in reading and understanding customer prints. + Mechanical aptitude. + Attention to detail. + Critical thinking skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Mastercam or other CAM software. + Familiarity with Mazak, Hurco, MicroDynamics machines. + Knowledge of Mazatrol, Hurco, Fanuc, and Mitsubishi controls. + Experience in a job shop with low volume production. + Aerospace experience is a plus but not required. **Why Work Here?** We offer flexible work schedules, an excellent total compensation package with competitive wages based on experience, ownership stock after one year of employment, and training and development opportunities including in-house apprenticeships. The position is for the 3rd shift from 11pm - 7am (Sunday - Thursday) with flexible start times, and there is a 90-day training period on 1st shift.
