**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in operating and programming CNC mills and lathes, with the ability to set up and machine their own parts. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a variety of machining equipment and materials. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, horizontal and vertical machining centers, vertical turret lathes (VTL), and boring mills. + Handle small to large part horizontal and vertical CNC milling/machining centers with part sizes up to 60" cube. + Operate large part CNC vertical turning lathe (VTL) with live tooling, handling parts up to 78" outside diameter and 18,000# weight capacity. + Manage small to medium part CNC lathe with live tooling and a 17" swing (OD). + Work with large part horizontal lathes with up to 33" swing (OD) and length between centers. + Perform CNC full 5-axis milling/machining with part sizes up to 36" cube. + Machine a variety of materials including cast grey ductile iron, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, bronze, brass, copper, super alloys, and tool steels. + Program using Mastercam and operate machines with Fanuc controls. + Read and interpret blueprints. + Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges for quality checks on parts. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of CNC Machining experience. + Experience with CNC mills or CNC lathes. + Ability to set up, operate, and machine own parts. + Mastercam programming experience. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Possession of own tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with SolidWorks is a plus. + Familiarity with various machining materials and processes. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy great benefits including affordable health plans and an annual Christmas bonus. The position is first shift, Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with optional overtime until 4:30 pm and occasional Saturdays if needed. Flexible start times are available to accommodate personal schedules, such as 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
