Temp-to-Hire position$20.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 09:00am to 05:00pm)The All-Around Machinist is responsible for machining new tools, reworking, and maintaining existing tools (such as molds, dies, and fixtures) used in the production of molded rubber products.Carries out machining tasks for new and existing molds, dies, fixtures, and maintenance parts, which may occasionally involve welding and torch work.Reviews blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine the dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, as well as the sequence of operations and setup requirements.Safely programs and operates CNC mills and lathes using Edgecam software and is proficient in operating manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders.CNC Machinist Qualifications:
Skilled in using hand measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and depth gauges.Proficiency in programming and operating CNC mills and lathes is required.Responsible for maintaining valid forklift and crane certificationsMust achieve a minimum score of 85% on the Machinist test.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
