Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team on the off shift. This role involves CNC milling operations, including setting up for specific customer jobs, performing tool changes, and making measurements for each job. The ideal candidate will have experience with micrometers, dial calipers, and all gauging measurement tools. Shop math proficiency and the ability to maintain machinery and troubleshoot setup issues are essential.
ResponsibilitiesSet up CNC milling operations for specific customer jobs.Perform tool changes and make precise measurements for each job.Utilize micrometers, dial calipers, and other gauging measurement tools.Maintain and troubleshoot machinery and measurement tools.Ensure efficiency in parts creation to meet KPIs and safety standards.Deburr parts throughout each step of the process.Work with a variety of metals, including aluminum and carbon steel.Essential SkillsExperience operating and performing setups for CNC milling machines.Proficiency with measurement tools such as micrometers and dial calipers.Knowledge of G&M Code.Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.Proficiency in shop math.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school education with one to three years of specialized training in the machining trades.Minimum one to three years of specific mill experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a machine shop with multiple machining centers for milling. The shop has been expanded three times and may move to a newer space as it continues to grow. The facility uses Haas/Fanuc horizontal milling centers. Shift times are as follows: 1st shift (training) from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 2nd shift starting at 2:30 PM or 3:30 PM, and 3rd shift from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Keene, New Hampshire.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.15 - $27.15
