Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in operating CNC machines, interpreting manufacturing drawings, and ensuring that parts are produced to specifications. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards, improving efficiency, and ensuring the timely delivery of products.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate HAAS CNC mill and lathe.Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to program and machine parts to specifications.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure smooth operation.Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure high-quality production.Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and improve product quality.Document and track production progress, including machine settings, tool usage, and material consumption.Maintain inventory of tools, materials, and machine parts.Essential SkillsProven experience (2+ years) as a CNC machinist in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of CNC machining principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.Proficiency with CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code).Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality control procedures.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining preferred.Knowledge of multi-axis CNC machines.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Exposure to noise, machinery, and potential hazards; safety gear is provided. You will be required to follow all safety protocols and ensure the proper use of protective equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00
