Job Title: CNC Machinist - ALL Shifts -UP TO $38/HR!!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist responsible for setting up and operating various CNC machines, including both mill and lathe machines. This role involves working in a job shop environment with large CNC machines, performing tooling changes, reading blueprints, and using precision measuring tools. The Machinist will work with G&M codes to edit programs and may occasionally use manual machines and grinders.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate various CNC machines including both mill and lathe machines.Perform tooling changes every shift.Read blueprints and use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Maintain tight tolerances of +/- 0.001.Work with G&M codes and edit programs utilizing MasterCAM and Solidworks.Operate manual machines and grinders as needed.Handle materials including low carbon and alloy tool steels.Ensure proper maintenance and troubleshooting of machines.Essential Skills6-8 years of CNC Machining experience.Experience in setting up machines and performing tooling changes.Proficiency in editing programs using G&M codes.Ability to use precision measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Capability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience in a job shop environment.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Experience in maintaining tolerances of +/- 0.001.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with MasterCAM or Solidworks.Experience operating both mill and lathe machines.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

We have 6 openings across three shifts: First Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday), Second Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday – Friday) with a 12.5% shift premium, and Third Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday – Thursday) with a 7.5% shift premium. The work environment is an older building with a lot of history and a job shop setting. Our team of 400 employees works on custom machines for various industries.

This is a Permanent position based out of Tiffin, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $79560.00

•\tOvertime after 8 hours in a shift - Double time at 45 hours - Saturdays are primarily voluntary OT

•\tNo time clocks. On what we call an “honor system” when it comes to keeping track of time.
