**Aerotek is Hiring CNC Machinists in Piqua, OH** **Job Description** + Machinists will be running one machine on shift – they have mostly Okuma mills and lathes with Fanuc controls (most machines are new). + Candidates will be responsible for uploading the program into the machine, and following the programs directions on set ups (set ups usually take an hour). + The lot sizes are small, usually a handful of parts. + Candidates are also responsible for tool changes, offsets, quality checks (+/- 0.003”). T + Candidates will be machining cast iron pumps, or steel shafts and tubing. **Shifts and schedules** + 2nd shift - 2pm-10pm + Monday-Friday + Training is on 1st shift - 6AM-2PM **Pay** + $22-27 an hour + 2nd shift - $1 shift premium **Must Have** + Machine set up experience (doesn’t have to be CNC) + Ability to read +/- 0.003” on manual calipers and gauges + Ability to read and understand blueprints **Nice to Have** + Experience making program edits + Education/certifications in machining **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
