**Job Title: CNC Machinist**
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate multi-axis CNC Machining Centers, including lathes or mills (both horizontal and vertical).
+ Manufacture parts to meet production and quality requirements.
+ Read and modify programs by making necessary offsets for CNC machines.
+ Work from drawings and written instructions to create replacement and/or new parts.
+ Conform with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
+ Participate in continuous improvements and lean initiatives.
+ Understand and apply G Code programming, including basic commands and practical usage for routine tasks.
+ Utilize various types of manual, numerically controlled, and computerized machine shop equipment to perform machining operations on all types of materials.
+ Perform standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, speeds, and feeds of machining.
+ Use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments and maintain accurate dimensional tolerances.
+ Select appropriate cutting tools to maximize efficiency and ensure product quality.
+ Set up and operate a variety of machines, including lathes, mills, jig borers, and precision grinders.
+ Fabricate complicated parts with interrelated dimensions, compound angles, and exacting tolerances.
+ Improvise production aids as necessary to facilitate operations.
+ Rework and calibrate production parts or assemblies and machine tooling as required.
+ Suggest changes in design involving productivity and process of manufacture.
+ Lay out, form, and fabricate all gauges of sheet metal, extruded, and tubing materials.
+ Set up punch presses and operate various types and sizes of power brakes to form, pierce, or straighten metal parts.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 3 years of CNC machine experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
+ Experience operating and setting up multi-axis mills or turning centers with live tooling.
+ Ability to read blueprints, micrometers, veneers, and gauging.
+ Basic understanding of G-code and M-code commands.
+ Problem-solving skills related to CNC programming and operations.
+ Experience with CNC mills, lathes, manual mills, and manual lathes.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00
