**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** Candidates will be responsible for machining (drilling, milling) parts for manufacturing gears/gear boxes. These gears are used for conveyors, machinery, and equipment to reduce and increase speed. The ideal candidate should be able to do setups, offsets, changeovers, and be willing to grow into editing and light programming. Candidates will need to read a blueprint daily. **Responsibilities** + Machining (drilling, milling) parts for manufacturing gears/gear boxes + Reading and interpreting blueprints daily + Performing setups, offsets, and changeovers + Growing into editing and light programming **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers and other measuring devices + Prior experience with metals + Ability to read and interpret blueprints + Experience with CNC machines such as Mazaks, Haas, grinders (ID/OD), OKK, and Mori-Seki mills/lathes **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Troubleshooting any issues + Experience with mechanical, hand tools, power tools, and Fanuc lathe + Gear hobbing is a plus **Why Work Here?** We offer a union environment with profit sharing and quarterly bonuses.
