Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Horizontal Mill Machinist to join our team. You will be responsible for producing short run, prototype parts, with most runs ranging from 1-5 pieces. As a machinist, you will handle all programming at the controller (Fanuc) using G&M codes. Your tasks will include reading blueprints, programming parts, machining parts, and performing quality checks.
ResponsibilitiesProgram parts using G&M codes at the Fanuc controller.Perform complete setups on CNC Horizontal Mills.Read and interpret blueprints for part specifications.Machine parts using Horizontal Mills (Fanuc controlled, Haas, or Mori-Seiki).Check parts during and after machining using micrometers, calipers, and CMM (a plus).Essential Skills3+ years of experience with CNC Horizontal Mills and Fanuc controls.3+ years of experience programming at the controller using G&M codes.2+ years of experience in a prototype environment, performing short runs.2+ years of experience checking parts using micrometers and calipers.2+ years of experience or relevant education with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Additional Skills & Qualifications3+ years of experience making parts for automated machinery.2+ years of experience working with Haas Horizontal Mills.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.60
