**CNC Machinist** **Overview:** Pay: $20+ per hour Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (currently working OT 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM and some Saturdays) Location: Ocala, FL Environment: Partially climate-controlled shop. **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team, machining parts for firetrucks. The candidate will run a 3-axis CNC lathe or mill to produce high-volume parts for our products. Responsibilities include inspecting parts, setting up machines, changing out tooling, and selecting programs based on orders and diagrams. The candidate will primarily work with iron, brass, and stainless steel, with occasional plastic machining. **Key Responsibilities:** + Set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes + Perform 2 to 3 setups per day + Inspect parts for quality assurance + Change out tooling as needed + Select and run programs based on orders/diagrams **Skills Required:** + CNC operation and setup + Blueprint reading + Use of calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools + Manual machining + Knowledge of M code and G code **Top Skills:** + CNC + Blueprint reading + Calipers **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + Manual machining + Setup and changeover + 3-axis machining **Experience Level:** + Entry Level **_To be considered, please apply with an updated copy of your resume.
