Job Title: CNC Machinist-2nd shift $25-32/hr Job Description

This role is responsible for process improvements and ensuring the quality control of made-to-order and machined in-house products. The specialist will work with operators on each step of the process to ensure the created blueprints are effective. A key focus will be working with two very large and brand-new Pama machines, which are two stories tall and equipped with large magnetic platforms for machining cast iron frames.

ResponsibilitiesImplement process improvements and proof out new blueprints.Ensure high quality control for all made-to-order and machined products.Collaborate with operators to ensure blueprint accuracy and functionality.Work extensively with two large Pama machines and other machining equipment.Machine large cast iron frames and various other materials such as steel, brass, iron, and bronze.Edit programs on machine controls, which are mostly brand-specific.Read and interpret blueprints and collaborate with Engineering to solve problems and improve processes.Train and develop new and current employees.Essential SkillsExperience with all machines, including 5-axis CNC mills and lathes with live tooling.Experience with manual grinders, drills, and Bridgeports.Ability to edit machine programs.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.Strong collaboration skills with Engineering for problem-solving and process improvements.Leadership skills and ability to train and develop employees.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with TBM (Turning, Boring, and Milling) capabilities.Programming experience.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00
