Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with a strong experience in programming, setting up, and running CNC equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Mazak Equipment, Multi-Axis turning, and lathes. This role requires self-sufficiency in part inspection and quality control, and the ability to maintain a safe and organized work area.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations.Follow company standard quality assurance procedures to maintain product specifications.Setup manual and CNC machine tools, including installation, alignment, and adjustment of cutting tools and work holdings.Verify machine tool settings, measure positions, complete first-run parts, and produce sample products for inspection.Convey job details and provide training to machine operators performing production runs.Prepare upcoming jobs for equipment setup based on the provided schedule.Tear down manual and CNC machine tools, saving programs to the company's library system upon completion.Operate manual and CNC machine tools, including loading and unloading materials, observing cutting processes, and managing tool life and compensation.Perform parts finishing operations to ensure conformity to specifications.Complete routine machine tool maintenance and assist with diagnosing equipment repairs.Operate several machines simultaneously.Serve as the point of contact/leader for the 2nd shift from 4:30pm to close.Execute the 2nd shift schedule provided by the VP of Manufacturing.Perform machine tool setups and run equipment, assisting operators with troubleshooting.Complete end-of-shift reports to maintain communication with the 1st shift.Essential Skills3+ years of experience programming, setting up, and running CNC equipment.Experience with Mazak Equipment, Multi-Axis turning, and lathes.Ability to be self-sufficient with part inspection and quality control.Proficiency with DMG Mori, Okuma, Doosan, CNC Mill, and CNC Lathes.Ability to operate Integrex multi-tasking machines and set up CNC machines.Skilled in working from blueprints and editing programs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Mazatrol for programming Mazak machine tools.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mars, Pennsylvania.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00
