CNC Machinist
**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to program, set up, and operate CNC Milling Machines. This role offers opportunities for cross-training and skill development in various departments. **Responsibilities** + Perform duties required to set up and operate CNC milling machines and inspect parts. + Collect required tools, set stops, locate and indicate vises and fixtures, and fabricate fixtures if needed. + Zero out parts and tools, install tools into carousel, input run data manually into machine, and transfer data to a disk using a CMT or DNC unit. + Operate CNC mill: load material into fixtures or vises, clamp material down, machine material, inspect bored and reamed holes, make tool adjustments, unload parts, and deburr. + Edit program information as required. + Load additional pallets while parts on the first pallet are being machined. + Inspect parts with micrometers, gauges, calipers, and other precision measuring devices. + Complete quality checks as required. + Collaborate with foreman and manufacturing engineers to verify or change shop routers. + Assist engineering department by machining prototype parts and evaluating machinability. + Maintain oil levels, add coolant as needed, empty coolant drain pan, clean coolant filters, check chip conveyor operation, and maintain a clean work area. + Use surface grinder to modify standard tools for specific parts and applications. + Operate other machines, including CNC machines, as trained or required. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 2 years of CNC Machining experience (vertical or horizontal). + Minimum of 2 years of CNC Milling experience; experience with Mazatrol is required. + Experience with set up, adjustments, and changeovers of CNC Milling Machine. + Knowledge and experience with conversational and/or GCode Programming. + Experience with quality control of parts and working with tight tolerances. + Ability to work with micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring devices. + Good job tenure. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Degree or equivalent experience. + Mill CNC or comparable experience is a plus. + Experience with Mazatrol programming is preferred but not required. **Why Work Here?** We offer excellent benefits and a supportive culture with plenty of opportunities for advancement. **Shifts Available** Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm Monday-Friday 11:00am-7:00pm Some mandatory overtime on weekdays and optional overtime on Saturdays. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Chesterfield, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00 Our company is the leading manufacturer of printing presses.
