**CNC Machinist *Afternoon Shift*** **Shift** : 2nd Shift (2:30pm-11pm, Monday-Friday) Our Team in Chester County is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines, specifically HURCO TM6i 2-axis turning centers and HURCO VM5i 3-axis machining centers. Responsibilities include: + Programming, setting up, and operating HURCO TM6i 2-axis CNC turning center. + Programming, setting up, and operating HURCO VM5i 3-axis CNC machining center. + Inspecting your own work using various inspection equipment to measure tight tolerances, including height stands, micrometers, calipers, and indicators. + Grinding and fabricating specialty tooling as required. + Helping troubleshoot machines as required. Top Skills & Qualifications: + High School diploma or equivalent. + 2-year machine tool diploma or degree or equivalent experience. + 2 years of experience programming for CNC turning and/or machining centers. + 1 year of experience with HURCO CNC machines. + 3 years of experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss Machines. + 2-3 years of experience with 1st piece inspection using measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges). + Experience reading blueprints. + Responsible for replacing tools, indicating fixtures, etc. + Experience with editing is a plus. **Work Environment:** + Union shop + Steel-toed shoes, polo shirt, and long pants required + Overtime is optional and usually 2 hours before or after the shift **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $50252.00 - $69494.00 Medical (BCBS - HSA) Dental Vision 401K + 4% company match (with 6% voluntary contribution company makes additional 1% match) Parental Leave – 6 weeks of paid leave for parents with a new child Family Leave – 2 weeks of paid leave to care for a qualified family member with a serious medical condition Adoption Assistance – up to $10,000 in IRS-qualified reimbursements Expanded Fertility Benefits – treatment coverage via the RRX medical and pharmacy plans **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in West Chester,PA. **Application Deadline** This position will be accepting applications until Jan 19, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
