CNC Machinist
**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a CNC Machinist with experience in running both CNC Mills and manual mills and lathes in a manufacturing setting. This role is ideal for individuals with more mill experience. The position offers opportunities on both the 1st and 2nd shifts. **Responsibilities** + Edit programs and set up CNC machines. + Change out tools and parts in the machine. + Work with Fanuc controls for program editing. + Handle production or prototype (job shop) tasks. + Machine both large and small parts. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years running a CNC Machine in a manufacturing setting. + Experience with CNC Mills and manual mills and lathes. + Familiarity with Fanuc controls. + Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines with accuracy. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + No formal education required. + Experience in a production or prototype environment. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a family-oriented company culture with long-term and permanent opportunities. Safety attire such as steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
