**1st CNC Machinist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled and self-sufficient CNC Machinist to join our team on the second shift from 3:30pm-2am with some flexibility in hours. The role includes a shift differential of 1.25-1.50. You will operate 2 Mill Machines, including a 30FT long Horizontal Machine, in a job shop environment producing large machined parts, including weldments. The ideal candidate must be proficient in operating various CNC Equipment, including Large Vertical and Horizontal Mills.
**Responsibilities**
+ Machine quality parts from prints and work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
+ Perform set-ups and programming at the machine as needed.
+ Proficiently manage feeds, speeds, tooling, and shop math.
+ Edit CNC Programs.
+ Set up tools and set length offsets.
+ Complete spot checks.
+ Read and interpret custom blueprints.
+ Ensure all measurements and tolerances remain within expectations.
+ Eliminate downtime in machining operations.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in CNC Program Editing.
+ Experience in setting up at the machine.
+ Ability to work without supervision.
+ Skilled in reading blueprints and troubleshooting.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2-3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
+ Experience in studying product and consumer requirements along with engineering, estimating, and manufacturing.
+ Ability to collect material samples for conducting physical tests and analysis when necessary.
+ Setting standards for in-process, finished product, and rework.

**Work Environment**
This role operates on the second shift from 3:30pm-2am with some flexibility in hours. The work environment includes using advanced CNC equipment in a job shop setting, handling both small and large parts, and working with custom fabrications.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00
