We are seeking a skilled General CNC Machinist for our Mill & Lathe departments. You will be responsible for operating 3 or 5 Axis CNC mills or lathes to produce precise parts according to customer process documentation. This role requires setting up jobs on assigned machines, performing inspections, data collection, operator maintenance, and diagnosing equipment issues.
Operate 3 or 5 Axis CNC mills or lathes to produce correct parts in a timely manner.Set up jobs on assigned machines, including tool changes.Perform 1st piece, in-process, and last piece inspections using micrometers, calipers, comparators, gauges, and CMM equipment.Perform data collection and communication tasks in Job Boss and other applications.Conduct operator maintenance and diagnose equipment or tool issues.Skill Details: CNC Machining, CNC Setup, Blueprint Reading, Quality Inspection.Experience with Haas Mill, DMG Mill (5 axis), Citizen Swiss Lathe, OD/ID Grinding.Why Work Here?We promote a Veteran-friendly environment due to the nature of our business in military equipment manufacturing. Work Environment
This is a job shop machining center for the aerospace industry. The parts are very complex and need to be within very close tolerances, with runs ranging from 20-70 pieces. Training will take place on the 1st shift for 30-90 days before moving to their respective shifts: B shift (10 hours M-Th), C shift (12 hours 6a-6p), or D shift (12 hours 6p-6a). Shift premiums are available.
