Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description:

We are in search of a proficient CNC Machinist Operator to enhance our team. The chosen candidate will utilize overhead cranes and other lifting devices to handle large parts and equipment, as well as operate various CNC machines, including horizontal and vertical mills, in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate and load various CNC machines including horizontal and vertical mills.Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and quality tools.Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.Utilize controls to regulate machining, and enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.Safely move large parts using lifting devices.

Essential Skills:

Proficiency in operating CNC machines.Capability to understand start, stop, and recovery program language.Ability to comprehend written standard work instructions and blueprints.Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.A positive attitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED typically required.

Work in a manufacturing environment alongside an incredible team. Personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel or composite toe shoes, earplugs, and protective glasses, is mandatory and provided. The facility maintains a high standard of cleanliness with minimal debris, prioritizing safety. The temperature-controlled environment is divided into an assembly side and a machine shop side. A relaxed dress code is enforced, allowing for sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, work pants, and jeans; however, leggings and sweatpants are not permitted.

The pay range for this position is $27.71 - $28.68
