Cnc Machinist
**Job Title: CNC Programmer** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with a strong experience in programming, setting up, and running CNC equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Mazak equipment, multi-axis turning, and lathes. The candidate should also be self-sufficient with part inspection and quality control. **Responsibilities** + Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Adhere to safety regulations. + Adhere to company standard quality assurance procedures and processes to maintain specifications of product’s blueprint (Imperial System of Measurement and Metric System of Measurement). + Setup of manual and CNC machine tools: installation, alignment, securing, and adjusting of cutting tools and work holdings. Verify machine tool settings: measure positions, complete first-run part, and produce sample product to be used for inspection purposes. + Convey job details and provide training to the machine operator performing the production run on the equipment. Troubleshoot as issues arise. + Prepare upcoming job(s) that need setup on equipment in advance based upon the schedule provided by supervisor. + Tear down manual and CNC machine tools. Save programs from the equipment to the company’s library system upon completion of the operation. + Operate manual and CNC machine tools: load and unload material to and from machine tool work holding, observe material cutting processes, perform tool life management and tool compensation, detect and report defective material, product, and equipment at machine tool. + Complete parts finishing operation product to ensure they conform to specifications per blueprint. + Complete machine tool routine maintenance and assist maintenance with diagnosing equipment repair. + Operate several machines simultaneously. + 2nd Shift Team Leader Duties: Point of contact/leader for the 2nd shift from the hours of 4:30pm – Close. Execute 2nd shift schedule from VP of Manufacturing. Perform machine tool set-ups and run equipment. Assist machine operators with troubleshooting. Complete end of shift report to keep communication with the 1st shift. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of programming, setting up, and running CNC equipment. + Experience with Mazak Equipment, Multi-Axis turning, and Lathes. + Ability to be self-sufficient with part inspection and quality control. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience operating CNC Mill and CNC Lathes. + Ability to operate Integrex multi-tasking machines. + Proficiency in setting up CNC Machines. + Ability to work from blueprints. + Experience editing programs. + Bonus: Knowledge of Mazatrol for programming Mazak machine tools. **Why Work Here?** This is a very clean machine shop that is climate-controlled and well-lit. The culture is friendly and collaborative, reflecting the small family-owned nature of the business. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mars, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
