**Job Title: CNC Machinist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to operate and program CNC Haas Mills. The role involves G&M code programming on the machine, performing minor edits for new tooling, and programming new parts from scratch. You will be responsible for setting up and operating machines, using precision measuring instruments, and handling various lifting equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Program, set up, and operate CNC Haas Mills.
+ Perform G&M code programming, including minor edits and new part programming.
+ Utilize micrometers and precision measuring instruments.
+ Operate overhead cranes with up to 50T capacity.
+ Operate fork trucks and man lifts.
+ Manually lift 20-25 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience with horizontal mill/boring mill operations.
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience programming G&M codes.
+ Minimum of 2 years of CNC mill setup experience.
+ Experience with forklift and overhead crane operations.
+ Proficiency with hand tools, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic lifts.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
+ Ability to program using Fanuc controls or Haas Work Station.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 5-10 years of CNC mill experience preferred.
+ Experience working with large steel companies.
+ Advanced welding skills.
+ Experience with 50-ton overhead cranes.

**Work Environment**
Our facility spans 9 acres with over 100,000 square feet under roof. It is equipped with 34 overhead and jib cranes, 35 feet under crane hook, and crane capacities ranging from 40 tons in the machine shop to 100 tons in the assembly shop. We have 20’ wide exit doors and a railroad siding on the property. The machine shop includes various advanced equipment such as hydraulic presses, welding positioners, and multiple types of CNC and manual mills and lathes.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a direct-hire position based out of Pontiac, Michigan
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $56160.00
Family owned, good benefits starting after 90 days of service. Vacation - 1 week after 1 year - 2 weeks after 2 years. Medical, dental, vision, life insurance policy.
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Pontiac,MI.
