CNC Machinist
Job Title: Machinist
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our premier job shop environment. This role involves working on extremely expensive, large-sized parts, requiring precision and expertise.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC mills and lathes, including Haas, Mazak, and other equipment.Program CNC machines according to raw stock and blueprints for Haas milling equipment.Utilize Mastercam and CAD software for programming operations.Perform quality checks on machined parts to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications.Understand and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Essential SkillsProficiency in Haas CNC mill setup and operation.Experience with CNC machining and lathe operations.Ability to program using Mastercam and CAD software.Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CNC quality checks.CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience is a plus.Experience with both CNC lathe and manual machining.Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
