Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of a dynamic production team supporting innovative manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a self-motivated attitude which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** CNC Machinist **Location:** Orchard Park, NY **Pay Range:** $20.60 - $27.16 per hour **Shift:** Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm (hours may vary) **What's the Job?** + Plan and construct intricate fixtures, tools, and gauges to close tolerances using manual and CNC machines. + Construct tools where no design is available, often relying on sketches and verbal instructions. + Utilize a wide variety of equipment and techniques to achieve complex tasks requiring very close tolerances. + Set up, program, and set tooling in CNC machinery for constructing fixtures, tools, and gauges. + Perform jobs with minimum assistance, demonstrating ingenuity and initiative. **What's Needed?** + High School diploma plus four (4) years of machine shop and/or toolroom experience. + At least six (6) months of CNC experience and completion of a formal CNC training course or equivalent. + Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications effectively. + Strong math and trigonometry skills for shop applications. + Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a supportive and innovative environment. + Gain valuable experience in both manual and CNC machining. + Work regular hours, Monday to Friday, ensuring work-life balance. + Be part of a team that values creativity and initiative. + Competitive pay based on experience and skills.
