**Job Title: CNC Machinist**
**Job Description**
Candidates are responsible for setups, operation, and editing of codes on a variety of CNC machinery. They are drilling, milling components for the aerospace and oil/gas industries. Need to have job shop experience since they require longer setups and specific machining processes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up CNC machinery for various jobs
+ Operate and monitor CNC machinery
+ Edit G&M codes and programs, predominantly using Fanuc
+ Drill and mill components for aerospace and oil/gas industries
+ Ensure precision and quality in machining processes
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in CNC machining
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints
+ Knowledge of G&M codes
+ Ability to use calipers and micrometers
+ Experience with setups and editing of CNC programs
+ Familiarity with lathe and mill operations
+ CNC programming skills
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with OKK, Hermle, DMG, Kuraki, Nigata, and Job Gantry machines
+ Knowledge of operating surface grinders, VMCs, HMCs, EDM sinker machines
+ Job shop experience for handling longer setups and specific machining processes

**Work Environment**
First shift operates from 6am to 4:30pm and requires programming skills. Second shift operates from 4pm to 4am with a 15% premium and is suitable for operators. The shop is equipped with a variety of advanced machinery including 7 surface grinders, 4 5-axis machines, 7 VMCs, 10 HMCs, and 2 EDM sinker machines.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Grafton, Wisconsin.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
