CNC Machinist
**Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for performing CNC machine set-ups, operating equipment, making program edits and adjustments, and ensuring high-quality production on CNC milling machines. **Responsibilities** + Perform CNC machine set-ups and operate equipment in support of parts requirements on CNC milling machines. + Handle all tool changeovers and adjustments. + Run and measure to close and exact tolerances. + Run, operate, and ensure productivity of CNC machines. + Make quality measurements, check dimensions, analyze data, and make appropriate adjustments to meet part specifications. **Essential Skills** + 2-3 years of CNC milling experience in a machine shop environment or education/degree in precision machining with 6 months of CNC milling hands-on experience in a machine shop environment. + Knowledge and understanding of G and M code programming with some hands-on experience performing minor edits (6 months+). + Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience performing set-ups, tooling adjustments, and changeovers as needed. + Quality assurance experience, including the ability to make quality measurements, check dimensions, analyze data, and make appropriate adjustments to meet part specifications. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Haas Mill experience is a strong plus. + 1-2 years of experience working with manual mill, manual lathe, or grinders is beneficial but not required. + Ability to work as a team and communicate effectively with other departments such as assembly, engineering, and customer service. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers 100% paid benefits, 4 weeks of vacation with 11 paid holidays, and a 401k plan. Candidates can work either 5 days of 8 hours or 4 days of 10 hours. The machine shop environment is climate-controlled, clean, quiet, extremely organized, and air-conditioned. The candidate will work with a team of 2 other lead machinists and must be comfortable collaborating with various departments including assembly, engineering, and customer service. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Earth City, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
