**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** We are currently seeking highly skilled CNC Machinists to join our team in Saco, ME. As an expert machinist, you will work with state-of-the-art equipment and machines, including 5-axis, multi-axis, and 11-axis mills. You will be responsible for full setup and changeover multiple times per shift, with strong documentation, inspection, and critical thinking skills required. Your role will also involve assisting with programming edits as needed. **Responsibilities** + Perform full setup and changeover of 5-axis, multi-axis, and 11-axis mills multiple times per shift. + Operate and maintain state-of-the-art CNC machinery. + Assist with programming edits as needed. + Document processes and maintain strong inspection protocols. + Utilize strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to ensure efficient production. **Essential Skills** + Experience with 5-axis or multitask CNC machines (e.g., Mori NTX, Okuma Multus). + Proficiency in programming CNC and PLC systems. + Strong blueprint and schematic reading skills. + 5+ years of experience in precision manufacturing. + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with CMMs and measuring equipment. + Ability to perform setups and operations with precision. + Strong documentation and inspection experience. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a modern facility that is less than five years old, equipped with cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art machinery. The environment is temperature-controlled and well-lit with plenty of natural light, providing a comfortable and efficient workspace. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saco, Maine. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $50.00/hr.
