**Job Title: Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated machinists to join our team on the 3rd shift. You will operate and adjust CNC Mill and Lathe tools, performing standard and repetitive sequences of operations. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of machining processes. **Responsibilities** + Operate and adjust CNC Mill and Lathe tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations. + Use precision measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, and height stands. + Measure to .001 precision on CNC lathe and mill. + Set up machines and tooling. + Follow written instructions from work instruction sheets. + Check parts for conformance using blueprint reading skills. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical aptitude. + Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical devices. + Basic knowledge of machining processes (milling/lathes, horizontal/vertical). + Experience with CNC Operator Level I, II, and III. + Ability to use precision measuring devices. + Ability to quickly learn how to make adjustments to tool offsets. + Strong attention to detail and communication skills. + Ability to follow written instructions. + Strong blueprint reading skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Mazak machines is a plus. + Willingness to learn M and G code programming. + Familiarity with Brother, Okuma, G-codes, and M-codes. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-like atmosphere where you are more than just a number. The environment is well-lit and the candidate will frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and work near moving mechanical parts. The atmosphere is family-like, fostering a close-knit community among employees. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
