CNC Machinist
**We Are Looking for Experienced CNC Machinists to Join Our Team!** Candidates must be capable of fully setting up, operating, and running parts with minimal training. They should have prior machining knowledge and experience to meet deadlines effectively. **This position is not suitable for entry-level applicants or CNC operators.** **Pay** **_$35 - $50/hour_** **Shift** **_1st Shift!_** 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, M-F **Job Description** We are looking for a proficient CNC Machinist. In this role, you will be crucial to our production process, applying your skills in machining methods, leadership, programming, and technology to create top-notch components and products. You will also mentor a skilled team and help steer the company towards greater success. Your accuracy and commitment to achieving targets and standards will support our goal of delivering outstanding machining services. **Responsibilities** + Guide a dynamic team of professionals through mentorship, leading by example, and hands-on demonstration. + Create a supportive mentoring atmosphere, aiding all team members in their career progression with improved skills and development. + Program tasks using MasterCam 2024 or G/M codes to manufacture parts according to customer requirements. + Set up and operate various machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and CNC machines, to produce parts based on engineering drawings and specifications. + Review work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans to determine the necessary machining process, tools, and materials for each project. + Ensure machines and tools are properly calibrated and maintained, performing routine checks and adjustments to uphold accuracy and efficiency. + Work with engineers, schedulers, and other team members to discuss project requirements, timelines, provide input on manufacturability, and resolve any potential issues. + Oversee machining processes to ensure product quality and adherence to tolerance standards, making necessary adjustments to maintain precision. + Perform detailed inspections of finished parts using measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges, and make corrections to meet quality standards. + Adhere to established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and efficient environment. + Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and machining techniques to enhance your skills and contribute to process improvements. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining preferred. + Enthusiasm and dedication to both team and individual growth. + Experience with additional equipment such as drill press, shear, and grinder is a plus. + Knowledge of CAD/CAM software. **Work Environment** The environment is temperature controlled with a friendly and diverse group of employees.
