**Job Title: Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated and skilled machinists to join our team on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role involves operating and adjusting CNC Mill and Lathe tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations. We offer a welcoming environment with a strong focus on quality and precision engineering. **Responsibilities** + Operate and adjust CNC Mill and Lathe tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations. + Use precision measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, and height stands. + Measure to .001 accuracy. + Set up machines and tooling, specifically Mazak machines. + Follow written instructions from Work Instruction Sheets. + Check parts for conformance using blueprint reading skills. + Make adjustments to tool offsets to correct feature discrepancies. + Judge if cutting tools need to be changed. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical aptitude. + Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical devices. + Basic knowledge of machining processes (milling/lathes, horizontal/vertical). + Capability to use precision measuring devices. + Competence to measure to .001 accuracy. + Experience with CNC lathe and CNC mill setup. + Strong attention to detail and communication skills. + Ability to follow written instructions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Brother, Okuma, and other CNC machines is a plus. + Willingness to learn M and G code programming. + Strong blueprint reading skills. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a small family-like atmosphere where you are not just a number.
