**Job Title: Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machinist with experience in horizontal boring mills and CNC lathes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading detailed blueprints, setting up various operations, and maintaining tight tolerances. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to ensure parts meet client specifications using various quality instruments. **Responsibilities** + Read in-depth blueprints to obtain correct tooling, set jaws, and identify true positions. + Set up various operations for individual parts. + Hold tolerances of +/- .001. + Use various quality instruments to ensure parts meet client specifications. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of machining experience in a job shop environment, specifically on mills. + Willingness to be cross-trained and machine on both CNC mills and lathes. + In-depth knowledge of G&M code. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to program machinery. + Experience with boring mills. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive health insurance at a low weekly rate, optional dental and vision insurance, Aflac at group rates, 10 paid holidays, 401K contributions, profit sharing after 1 year, anniversary pay, and company-paid life insurance. **Work Environment** This is a climate-controlled job shop with four separate buildings. The main building houses all the mills, benches, and assembly areas, while another building contains the lathes. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mishawaka, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
