Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various large CNC machines, including both mills and lathes, in a job shop environment. You will work with G&M codes, perform program edits using MasterCAM and Solidworks, and ensure precision in all tasks.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate various CNC machines, including mills and lathes.Perform tooling changes every shift.Read blueprints and use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Maintain tolerances of +/- 0.001.Work with G&M codes and edit programs at the machine.Utilize MasterCAM and Solidworks for programming and editing.Operate manual machines and grinders as needed.Work with materials such as low carbon and alloy tool steels.Essential Skills6-8 years of CNC Machining experience.Experience setting up machines and performing tooling changes.Proficiency in program edits using G&M codes.Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Ability to read blueprints.Job shop experience (not production machining).Ability to lift 50 pounds.Experience holding tolerances of +/- 0.001.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $79560.00/yr.

•\tOvertime after 8 hours in a shift - Double time at 45 hours - Saturdays are primarily voluntary OT
•\tBenefits include: 401k with company match, health, dental vision benefits, 3 personal days, paid sick leave, life insurance
•\tNo time clocks. On what we call an “honor system” when it comes to keeping track of time.
•\tMedical, dental, vision benefits start day one.
•\t20 weeks of paid sick time over 24 months. This is 100% pay for time missed such as a sick day or a leave of absence.
•\tVacation is based on industry experience.
•\t401k match starts at day 90 but you can start to contribute day one. Fidelity is the plan sponsor.
